I have stayed in the folllowing forest guest house in south indai
1- Bandipur wildlife sanctury - karnataka
2- Nagarahole wildlife sanctury - Kallahali and nagarahole guest house. - karnataka.
3- Badra wildlife sanctury - karnatka
4- Lakkavalli pwd guest house adjacent to badra wildlife sanctury
5- B.R T wildlife sanctury - karnataka
6 - Dandeli wildlife sanctuary -karnatka
7- Madumalai wild life sanctury - tamilnadu,

I have been to Nagarhole. Sightings were very less but Bird sightings were good at the river side. Since you plan to go there in Winter Season expect less animal sightings. I had stayed at Kabini River Lodge operated by Jungle Lodges & resorts.

For animal sightings summer months (End March / April / May / Early June) are the best time to visit.
