hi,

i am visiting gir national park at the end of this month.. i have booked myself at the club mahindra resort.. i would like to do the forest safari.. can anyone help me with the details? the hotel people are charging Rs. 3000 per trip.. i think it is pretty expensive.. i would like to know the local rates.. do they have locally operated tours? how far is the resort from the entry of the forest? any information is welcome..

yesterday only i came back from sasan gir and trust me it was an amazing tour.. i have seen 3 lions in one safari only.. and ill recommend u to stay in Sinh Sadan. i stayed there only . and its realy not at all expensive.. i have got a suite there @ 1500/= plus the location of sinh sadan is very awesome.

hi nehz, that sounds expensive, don't think a safari (tht includes entry + gyspy) should cost more than 1700 rs when u book it on your own.
Unless they have increased entry fees like many parks.
Resorts will always charge more.

Try and get a better deal from them on the safari's

Gujarat, Gir National Park

Gir Forest National Park, Gujarat most well known wildlife park for people and animal species. It is located 65 km from Junagadh state of Gujarat. I never seen this park but quitely known that this park is too cheap and affordable and also within the budget for both a general and VIP persons.
