Jim Corbett National Park made Easy

Quote:
Arranging a trip to Jim Corbett National Park is not as easy as many may think. So, please read this entire article before going off half cocked.

You start by Googling Corbett, and you will be given many websites as recommendeds to visit. These and other websites are full of lovely pictures, theres an odd email link to info@ some-website.com, and a phone number. So you email these people and "No Reply" comes the stern answer.

Well I believe the going rate for Dhikala guest house is 1000rs/- per room per night. However, if you have the fastest finger first, I believe you can still get it somewhere in the Dhikala Zone.

I have received a message telling me that Dhikala and Bijrani forest rest lodges are to close in 2017. This is so sad. Does anyone else have any information on this?

Wow! That's crazy. Dhikala accommodates the bulk of the visitors as the others inside the park are much smaller. And Bijrani gets the majority of day trippers. Was the message from someone in the know?
