Dear maylance,
First of all let me tell you that sighting a tiger is a matter of luck and only very few people have that kind of luck. So don't assume that visiting sanctuaries & doing safaris will bring you face to face with the king of the jungle. Now coming back to your questions, yes you will get buses to Ramnagar from Moradabad early in the morning. The best place to stay in Corbett is the Forest department's lodge in Dikhala in side the sanctuary but you must pre-book as there is always a big demand. I assume that you will visiting in winter. These days number of safaris have been reduced so you must pre-book your hotel in Ranthambore and the hotel guys will also book your safari. Good luck !! |

Thanks for your kindness replies, Jyotirmoy.
Would you please tell me how can I book the Forest department's lodge on-line? We would like to book 3night-4day trip in the Corbett NP from Monday to Thursday, 3 people, on January or February 2010. My English need to be improved, but I will try my best. Thank you again. |

Your question is of interest to me Maylance. Your English is fine and thank you for asking in English because if you asked in any of the other languages you speak, I'd be lost.
"The best place to stay in Corbett is the Forest department's lodge in Dikhala" ~ Jyotirmoy What is your definition of best? Most convenient, best value for the price, best location to see animals? Where would you suggest in Corbett, Jyotirmoy, if "best" meant "most wildlife and fewest people?" Thanks! |

As compare to Corbett , Ranthambhore is small and not commercialize like Corbett. How to get Sfari ticket. For current booking Morning 4-5 AM , you need to go to forest office and book ticket for 6 AM safari. For evening booking start 12:30 PM For Advance booking , booking start at 3 PM City is small with lots of hotels. Try Rajesthan tourism hotels for accommodation |
