I have Ramesh's number but he would not be happy about me handing it out. The damn thing never stops ringing. Thats not good when you want quiet. It is always switched on for personal reasons. So the the fewer that have it the better.
When or if you book with him you will get it but only for emergencies.
To be fair to the boy he works long hours and gets tired, and he is the first to admit to making errors, or forgetting about phone conversations, and what was said, and by who. The only chance he has to take calls is very late at night after he has finished with his guests. Best is to stick to emails for your own sake.
I would suggest not to take the baby on an elephant back safari.
The baby would get nothing from the safari, and its just begging for disaster, an accident waiting to happen. I believe prevention to be better than cure.

Hi Rehena, I agree totally with Fugly, please use email to contact Ramesh. When we contacted him it was by email, having been on safari with him I know that there is little or no mobile signal in the forest so even if you have his number it is of little use. I am in process of organising another trip to Corbett with Ramesh, can't wait!
As far as the children are concerned I would avoid taking a young baby on the elephant safari, other kids will love it, but they must be well supervised and be prepared to be quiet....or you will see little wildlife! Goodluck with your trip.

I hope you are all sorted now?? We are planning to return in March/April. Last year wewent in November and loved it,everyone said it would not be a good time for tigers...How wrong they were, the weather then is lovely and you can spend so much more time on Safari as it is not too hot! We are returning in March so we can see another season. Have a great trip and do let us know how you get on!
Hi Tripsammy,
Sorry to bother you again. Its been a long time that I dropped email to Ramesh. But I did not get any reply from him. Please suggest any other way to contact him (no, I dont want HP#). We are middle of our plan and need his help before finalize everything.

Hi Tripsammy,
I do have another query. The link http://www.tigersincorbett.com/ to contact Ramesh does not work and so I dropped message on Facebook. Please help. I did not get any reply.

Regards,
I have just used the link and it works fine for me. I do not understand why it does not work for you. Have you received any email from Ramesh ? If yes I suggest you send him another email in reply in case he has not received it. If you have not heard back let me know and I will see what I can do. The facebook message is also effective but he doesn't have much time available for 'facebook'I suspect he is just very busy, working out peoples detailed itinerary is very time consuming and I know he has many requests. I am sure he will respond soon.
fantastick reporting of corbett/salute
as i read your report of corbett what i felt that i am sighting wildlife personally.simply amazing.pls continue it.thanks.

Hi Tripsammy
Great story, so much so that we are going there now. Just a quick question about the Ranikhet express from Old Delhi to Ramnagar. How would you describe the classes of the trains? I have never been to India and don't really know what to expect.
Thanks,
Louw
