Hey i came across this thread as I was curious to know how many ppl have heard of Marks place a place I've been to thrice in the last 6 months.. and I couldn't help smiling to myself when I saw the first link was someone asking for Mark's no.
Mark has changed his number and has given it to a select few (u may call me the elite, santos) and is not interested in having too many ppl around. He's happy with friends and friends of friends and it ends thr.
Don't be surprised if you do manage to get to this place and he throws you out before you manage to get outta your car.
I salute him for living the way he lives and I think all of u ( ppl who dont already knw mark or dont already knw ppl who kna mark) to respect Mark's feelings and let him be.
Signing off ...and to give u a taste of wht Mark's like, i quote "fuck off!"
yep..thts mark davidar for u

Robertocarlos, your post proves that Mark does not run his place like a hotel. I have read the book Cheetal Walk & I feel that people like you are really lucky to have stayed at the place.

If you prove to be a genuine wildlife enthusiast I see no reason for him not to. he just cant stand the pseudo crowd tht comes to masinagudi driving arnd blaring music and disturbing the peace and quiet. Tht's why we live in cities and escape to masinagudi.

But how do we contact him ? Can you provide with his postal address or may be an E-mail I.D.. so that I can communicate with him.

What a day it must have been, seeing all those animals in one day, awesome.

You mean, go to Mark's place without informing him & ask him to accommodate us. Do you think It's going to work ?

Remembering Mark

This thread brings back to me the nostalgic experience while I just happened to be there with Mark. It was in 1995 and I remember most of the moments I spent there with him. He is unforgettable. We were joined by his brother Peter . I can write a full story line but right now I am dying to just have a connection with them…I remember that we exchanged a couple of mails but then like a typical Punjabi Delhite (and not an elite but an idiot) I lost the contact. That time I was 35 old young brat now I am a 50 years old searcher. I really wish to say hi to Mark where ever he is …hoping and praying that he is fine. I can never forget his expressions whenever he used to hear the blowing horns of the traffic…”Bloody Animals!!!!”
I love you Mark. Thanks for letting me stay with you for two nights…If you remember (but why should you?) I impersonated as a ‘cook’ when you said “ Sorry we not accommodate you ..we do not have a cook” And I said “That’s why I am sent !”
