booking at Dhikala FRH

trying to book at Dhikala but haven't succeeded till now. hope its not too late. reaching the Ramnagar office is the challenge. Tried Dehradun and Nainital offices too but they say all bookings now are done only from Ramnagar. Whenever i talk to Ramnagar they just say May bookings haven't started and ask me call them later. I ve already sent a Fax to them not sure if they will honour when they actually begin blocking. Any suggestions on how to go about whith this?
Have been calling almost daily and whenever i am able to get thru i am just told to wait till bookings start as it is too early. what am I missing.
looking for some suggestions on way forward from corbett experts

Try to book with KMVN in Delhi or Mumbai, you will find info on another thread. They rent several rooms at the "annexe" at Dhikala. I was there in march.

didindia - my understanding is all kmvn offices book for packages only and not just accomodation...atleast kmvn office people in Delhi were saying that...let me try the one in Mumbai

KMVN books also for accomodation without any packages as well, I have used the service several times.

i have used both , and can recommend kmvn, who booked everything via e-mail. I then paid for it at their ffices when i arrived in Delhi.

I booked transport there and back from Delhi and accomodation (inc food) and it was good value.

Booking directly cost me loads in phonecals and faxes, it kinda wasnt worth it.

They never replied to my Fax for booking Dikhala, well I went to Lansdowne instead of Corbett. Hope you will have better luck. I will try the KMVN option the next time.
