Hi there!
Just been browsing t'internet for stays at Bandhavgarh NP and wondering if any flks out there had any recommendations/experiences? We are going in April for roughly three nights....I've seen one called the Tiger Trails Resort and another called Mogli Jungle Resort...they both seem to have the Jungle Plan deal going for about $100 per night (which seems to include meals, bed and safari trips) Is this OK or are there cheaper deals/ways out there! I've heard of White Tiger lodge too, but does that include jeep/elly trips? If not, how much extra shold we budget for? Finally, are there any easy ways of reserving the above...any tips are a graciously consumed Thanks! |

This recommendation comes from a friend of a friends ... friends friend, so I can't personally vouch for it, but it never hurt to have options! If you do end up there, I'd be keen to hear of your experience. Happy holidays! |

I'm off to Bandhavgarh in March and experienced the same problem re the package option or arrange the jeeep when I got there, and after a lot of trawling through the net etc I booked in with Tiger trails, which was the slightly cheaper than Mogli. It was organised for my by a firm called joint adventures. They've even arranged the transport to the park for me as well.

There website is www.joint-adventures.com and click the contact button. They are pretty quick at replying. |

Joint adventures ....to book?
Hiya Shirley!
We've just contacted the company and got a quote for the 3 day stay at Tiget Trails on jungle plan, and although it seems high rupee-wise and pound-wise...we're thinking of going ahead with them, just to save us hassle organising stuff by ourselves. the query i have is..they have given us their bank details...Do we just pay the stated amount into their account and expect all to be well ..just wanted to know what experience you have had with the company, and how far into the booking process have you committed yourself to?Much obliged ![]() |

Hi Suddini
Yes, I'm fully paid up for my hotels (as I'm going to Kanha as well - which they organised) for next month. I did do a bit of research on IM about Joint Adventures (they were recommended by someone on IM) and there are some very positive comments. So I went ahead, but like yourself I was a bit reluctant and dithered for days, as I've booked 6 nights in total it was quite a bit of money. But they keep in regular contact to keep me updated even though I've paid, though I do still owe for the taxi transfers which they have paid to the hotel on my behalf....! I did have a lot of trouble with my bank getting the money to them, as it goes into a bank in the UK then onto the ICICI bank, and they had no experience on how to do it. I notice that your in Manchester which has an ICICI branch, it might be easier and possibly cheaper to pay the money in there. If you need any more advice, I'd be glad to help if I can. |
