There are dim chances as most of the National parks remain close due to monsoons. As per my knowledge Periyaar Tiger Reserve remains open throughout the year.

the sad thing is that these days there is little chance of spotting tigers in any national park, in any month of the year.

With the high number of poachers that are still doing the rounds, seeing a tiger is really difficult and, they are generally very reclusive.

I would suggest that no matter what park you go to, go with the mindset that you won't see a tiger but if you do, what a bonus.

Cheers

Which is exactly what we are doing this weekend in Bandipur. I'm really hoping to see a leopard. If we see a tiger, I'll chalk that one up to unbelievable luck.

If you visit Bandhavgarh during summer months of April / May you are sure to see a tiger infact many of them. Minimum stay recommended is 3 nights which will give you six safaris.

There are two golden rules for spotting tigers or for that matter other wildlife.
1] Plan your trip during hot summer months.
2] Stay minimum of three nights at one place.

September is a monsoon month that is why most of the parks remain closed. Hot summer months are April / May / June (till rains arrive).

I do not have any personal experience of The Tiger Trail but seems it worth trying. I don't know if sightings are common on this trail.
