after many years 5 vultures were seen in the sky of balurghat 2 days ago. one of them found dead. the villagers called the forest department and handed over. it was a common oriental white-backed vulture. after postmortem it was found that it died due to electric shock of the overhead electricity wire. no proof of diclofenac was found in its body.
