Wrong Place of Birth Mentioned on Passport Form

HI,,
While applying for PASSPORT online for my wife, i mentioned "ORISSA" as her birth place. But, later, while talking to her parents, the place of birth comes out to be AGRA and they say after her birth they shifted to Orissa.

And I was in the impression that her birth place is ORISSA.

Today, i've applied for the PP and realized my mistake.

What should i do now?

Pl. suggest very early..

Is there an office in Chandigarh where you can actually speak to an officer in this regard? If there is that is what I would be doing.
