who signs a child's visa form?

i am filling in separate forms for myself and my daughter, but there is no place for signature of guardian if its a child.

anyone know - does she sign the declaration or do i? (she's 13)

maybe we both should to be on the safe side

thanks!

She should sign it herself. Have looked most recently at the PIO application, but it states that if the child can sign, they should. If they cannot sign, they need a thumbprint; parents should not sign in their place.

edit: noticed belatedly that you are in UK. I'm in US; don't know if it will be different. (?)

I'd think so, seeing as they're both govt. of India forms, and if you don't see a space for guardian, I'd assume they don't need it. I wouldn't add stuff they don't ask for either, or somebody in a bad mood could make you redo it.

Of course, there's nothing quite as fun as government paperwork...!

I just signed the forms of my kids myself, but if she's 13 she can sign them herself. It's about the 50 Euro's, not the signature....

A sage statement dhans, and I did the same for tax forms, etc. with the statement for (name of child). Now he is bigger than his mom so I make him do the work..
