who is the visa "check payment" made out to
I don't see who the check for the payment of the visa is written out to.
Is the check written out to "Embassy of India" or something other? Thanks |

Don't know about your part of the world, but the High Commision in London does not accept cheques.
Best take cash.

However...
A certified check or Money order will work. It's personal checks and credit cards that are not accepted.
At the top of the US Visa application page, it states this on the first page.. Cash only accepted at the counter. |

It depends
The check name is specific for which location you are sending it to. Needs the name at the top of the application; however make sure your state resides in their "judisciary" area.
