Sunspirt... I think that is a wonderful name. At first glance it looks like sunspirit, but it isn't spirit but spirt.

Was it on purpose?

Was it a typo?

Will I have to spend the rest of my life wondering this?

Oh, there is in fact quite a lot of information already on this site on people looking to move there for shorter or longer on all sorts of grounds, employment, studying, marriage, being an expat's spouse with or without children, (the intricacies of) intercultural relationships, the details of moving to and settling into the country and various cities, and whatnot. So if you haven't already, it would pay to search around for those.

Apart from this site's search engine (found at top right of most pages), most any thread will feature a listing of "similar threads" at bottom of page, just like this one does, just scroll down for it; this can be a handy way to quickly search on on a given theme. Opening those, they'll feature such a listing at bottom again, etc. The Visa (sub-) forum you're in will certainly have more info; and then there are the various Expat forums, and questions will have been spread out over other forums, too.

In any such forum, take note of their "sticky" threads; threads "stuck" on top of any forum so they'll always remain there, and which are thought to give some good coverage of basic issues.
Thanx again for the advise. I have read a few of the peoples comments on here but it does not sound very promising to be honest. If me and my chap will not be allowed to marry then i dont know what will happen . thanx again

lits... This is very confusing. Could you keep your story to your own thread?

I posted a reply to you over on that thread.
