I dont thing that should be the case...I guess this should more depend on which country's passport you actually hold.. |

I've never heard of it either. But... you never know these days. Maybe enquire with some US consulate/ministry of foreign/internal affairs or some such. Their rules seem to be very much subject to change so asking won't hurt.

yeah but they wont tell you that they wont allow the US visa if there is a pakistan stamp ... it would be a political blunder..they might excercise it, but they cannot make a declaration of the same.. the best way would be enquire from other travellers.. |

No I don't think so. This a regular issue with travelers to Israel and some Muslim nations. I'd say just ask them (er, those officials, not those travelers).
I thought US and Pakistan were big buddies anyway these days. But who's to say. Your entry process (not just in US) may be not quite smooth owing to your looks or backgrounds, but it shouldn't technically lead to your being denied flat-out. Er, well, correct that, I know of white people being sent back for no good reason, presumably because of their looks, way before 9/11. But technically, just enquire about current rules I'd say. |
