My girlfriend and i are looking to travel to india in april. There's a reference in the FAQs about people of Pakistani origin - like me, though i have UK citizenship - facing additional waits and, perhaps, shorter term visas.
How common is this? How likely am i to get a 6 month visa? Thanks. |

From what I understand, there is less consistency wrt Pakistani origin folks and visas, so, yes, you should be prepared for a shorter term visa than you would like. If you are lucky (UK citizenship may help) this won't happen.
And things are better than ten years ago. Good luck. |
