Can always try the luck at the FRO. Some people have all the charm and get away with it without even a hint of an excuse. Somehow I don't believe it will work out in this case..
afd - I appreciate your advice.. I got it only 3 days before my flight which is about as close to my departure date as I could handle! I don't think they will allow it either edwardseco! It'd mean having to register within 14 days too which would give me a bit of a troublesome first week up in Kullu!
