Visa Stress With The Sydney Consulte

Hi...Not sure if anyone can help us with this, but we sent off our passport and visa application via post down to the Sydney consulate. We forgot to include our itinerarys and were called to fax or post that down, which we did. That was nearly 3 weeks ago and we have since posted the itinerarys down as well. we have attempted to contact the consulate by phone and repeated e-mail - no luck..

We are travelling soon and are a little worried about this silence from the consulate..Has anybody found a way to actually speak to anyone in the consulate?? Is there a way through?

I always go to the Consulate myself, 'cause I live close by. But in your situation, if I was you, I'd email, phone and fax every e-mail/number on this website. http://www.indianconsulatesydney.org/

Try calling between 3pm and 5pm. If that doesn't work, try every single hour between 9-5pm. Always persist. If this doesn't work, you may need to stay in Sydney for a few days to do it face to face. Other than that, sorry to hear about this.

Hate to say it, but you'd probably be best off doing the 6 hr drive down here. They're packed out Monday to Friday from what I can tell. I doubt they have time to answer either phones or emails.

ramp up the contact attempts/look at going to Sydney
