VISA stamping at CANADA/MEXICO
Hi,
Did any of you goto CANADA/MEXICO for H1-B VISA stamping recently ? If we get new H1 (not H1 transfer), is it a good idea to goto any of the above US consulates for visa stamping in the passport. The web site (at CANADA) suggests that we need to goto home country for stamping. Any input/suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks Naveen |

Good luck, Naveen; if the US State Department's website tells you to go to your home country, that may be necessary.
Have you tried to call INS? They might have an answer for you. Of course, they are now on a long weekend, so ring them on Tuesday.
