Visa Procurement Companies

After reading various threads on the hassles of an embassy visit I have decided to use a procurement company.

Any suggestions on a company?

Any advice such as costs or timeframes you'd like to share?

Thanks

In the UK, I'd definitely recommend visaswift. Very quick and efficient service for a reasonable price. I had a problem with my application and they were superb in resolving it quickly with minimum fuss.

Not much help to you in the states tho... sorry.

Many travel agents will do it for you.

If it is just an ordinary Tourist visa, all you are doing is paying someone else to queue up for you. Nothing more special than that.

But its nice if they are local, and you don't have to trust your passport to the post...

I live in the country in a small town, no travel agents but I agree
with not putting my passport in the post. Hell, Houston's only a two hour drive and they have an Indian Embassy, maybe I'll just get off my laxy arse and drive to town

If you are only 2 hours from Houston, just drive there. I was in Tennessee and used one in Silver Springs, MD that had a very generic name...like "World Travel Visas" (!) - I found it on line - who processed mine through the DC embassy. Good luck and happy travels without travails!

I think even with visa procurement companies, you have to mail your passport, unless they are local.

If you want to visit the embassy directly, here's the basic info. They also have a mailing service if you are happy to go down that road, information here.
