If one is to go by your previous posts on this site from a few years ago; I am sure the HCI/London already has a big fat folder related to your previous applications. The attention was already drawn. Your previous business visa(s), and applications all count. It is cumulative effect when they make a decision.

In addition to all the issues raised above, Annie also said she has property in Goa. Given the flap we've seen in the last two to three years regarding property "acquisition" in Goa by foreigners on tourist visas (illegal to purchase, OK to lease if lease is not longer than 5 years), it wouldn't surprise me if a list of foreigners who have registered or attempted to register real property purchases has been compiled by the Indian Govt and cross-checked against visa applications. We've seen increasing reports from such foreign property "owners" (usually in the UK) regarding problems obtaining visas.
