Visa info

I fly into NDel on 4th March 04 from Heathrow on route RTW. I live in Brum do I need a visa if so where do I apply for one. Thanks for any help. also can you recomend a place to stay in ND for a couple of days.

Have a look at the India High Commission website (you can find it through Google) and find out where to go for your visa; you MUST get it before you leave for India.

In New Delhi, I like to stay at Ringo's Guest House, others like various other hotels. We have a section here with hotel reviews so have a look and see what appeals to you.

You need to print out a visa form from this site, then take the completed form to the consulate in Birmingham.(Address, opening hours & tel numbers. )

If you get there an hour before it opens, you will be one of the first in the queue and should have your visa by 11:00 (thats how it works in London)

Check on the visa form for holidays (days the place is closed).
