Vietnam Visa - UK National In South India
We are an English couple currently heading for Goa and have found a cheap flight from Kochi to Vietnam causing us to change our plans.
Does anyone know where the closest place is to get a vietnam visa in either Kerala or Goa? To date we have found the address for a consulate in Mumbai (Majeda House, Gulmohat Cross Rd. No.7, Juhu Scheme, Mumbai - 400 049, Bombay). But we don't know if this consulate issues Visas. Can anyone help?  |

I would expect a consulate to.
Of course, the Embassy will be in Delhi. Why dont you ring up Mumbai and ask them? +91 (0)22 2620 8589 2620 8549 Edit: I don't think you will get a Vietnamese consulate in Kerala/Goa or maybe even Chennai.

ok - i have to ask - where did you find a cheap flight from Kochi to Vietnam? Which airline?

Should anybody else try and get a Visa in Mumbai please see the info below provided by the embassy:
-------------------------------------------------------- You can apply for the 15-day visa in our Consulate in Mumbai. Please bring to us: - Passport - Application form with 1 photo. - Air ticket Please note that: 15-day visa is valid from the date of issue. Submission time: 9.00 to 14.00 from Monday to Friday. ------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Gajaprishthakara - The flight we found was with Tiger Airways. We have'nt booked it yet but i'll let you know the price. |

I want a 1 month visa and will be applying by post through Delhi. On the flight - ahhhhh - I thought you were talking about direct flight. Sad but not unexpected. Are you getting anew Indian Visa in Vietnam? I am going to try so would appreciate anyone's recent info about the process and ease. thx |
