The last thing they would do is pay you in cash or by cheque. Its bank deposit. All in all, bad advise.

Very True... Firstly ...Working in a BPO without any salary will never be considered legally as Volunteer work..It will be taken as unpaid internship... Secondly if the company is fine with you working without any work permit...It will be the case that the BPO is very small and they would not be doing any paper work with you...eventually it could lead you to work for the company even more than what you thought off... ![]() | |

| this is Brad. He's cute | The bottom line is, You know the difference between right and wrong. Asking other people if it's wrong so as to assuage guilt for doing it is strange. If I were "helping" in a call centre, unpaid, wearing call centre clothes, I would know I was doing something that wasn't a tourist activity. It would surely be easier to get an Entry Visa, and be above board on Everything. Then if anyone comes around, or anything gets out, you have nothing to fear. A stamped Govt. piece of paper authorising you to be there is a reassuring thing in India. And you have the benefit of an Entry Visa, which is for five years instead of 6 months.
