Turn Around Time: VISA by Mail
I sent my passport and documents in the mail to the Indian Consulate in New York City for my VISA. I sent the paperwork on September 30th. Does anyone have any idea how long it will take to process? My flight leaves in eight days and I'm starting to get nervous.

So you should get it back soon, but without the visa. Unless, they decide to do it out of goodwill that is if it arrived 1st October. However, the website does not suggest any goodwill! http://www.indiacgny.org/php/showContent.php?linkid=21 Regards |
