Transit Visa within 2 months

Hi,

Sorry if this question has already been asked but I have yet to find a clear and definite answer.

My plan is to visit Nepal after my 5-month stay in India. I intend to spend 3 weeks there and then fly back home. However it looks like I will have to connect flights in Delhi.

My questions are:
1/ Will I need to apply for an Indian transit visa when I'm in Nepal?
2/ If so, can I still apply for such a visa even if I'm within this 2-month no-entry period?

Thanks.
Kivi

Needless to say that by the time I'll be leaving from Nepal, my Indian visa will have expired.

Yes if you have a booked flight out of Delhi the Indian mission in Kathmandu is allowed to grant dispensation and overrule the 2 month rule.

Alright thanks for the info.
I also went to my embassy and they confirmed that I could indeed be granted a TV even within this 2-month exclusion period.
Good news!
