Tourist Visa Application from Perth, Australia

Well I went and did it this morning. I applied in person at the Goodearth Hotel, Room 22 on Adelaide Tce

It was a rushed processed and I didn't really understand what was said by the lovely and very efficient Indian VFS man. I assume i filled all the forms in correctly but he didnt seem to check any of it. Whisked my passport away and charged me $102. I think I will receive it back with the visa in 3-5 working days.

I can also check the visa application status online which is helpful

Despite the lack of communication at the VFS office, if it all goes well it was a very easy process indeed.

We shall see in 3-5 working days!

Hi Sarah,
I used the Perth facility this time last year and everything went smoothly. You can indeed check the progress of your visa online and your passport should arrive back in the time they promised.
Have a great trip.

I am a bit nervous about the visa, as i have read about some not so good experiences. I do tend to worry about these things. Silly i know!

I will start in Delhi and travel around Jaipur, AGra, Varanasi, Rishikesh and McLeodGanj.

I am very excited
