Greetings everyone
I have ran into this problem and couldn't think of anywhere else to turn to for help other than this community. Last month I decided I wanted to quit my job (family business) and pursuit IT and computer training and certifications to enter the IT Industry which I'm very fond of. I have been wanting to move to India and start a life over there for a long time now so I went to the Indian Embassy's website and read the requirments and necessary documentations for a 1 year tourist visa, I downloaded and printed the apllication filled it up and went to the embassy with 2 recent pictures and all the necessary papers, Long story short they only gave me a 1 month visa and told me that's all I can get and I might be able to extend it over there if I take it to a police station before my visa expires but they also made it sound impossible/hard. I don't know if this has anything to do with my nationality (I'm persian living in kuwait) I was so happy when the guy in the embassy gave me my passport and visa and it was followed by disapointment few seconds later when I read the stamp that read "Valid for one month after date of entry" I don't know if I would be able to get a student visa since I haven't finished my highschool I quit in the 9th grade and joined the family business I regret that decision but nothing I can do about it. I'm really sorry for this long post I tried to be as clear as I Can be can anyone help me with any way/scheme I can try anything would be appreciated and I'm willing to do anything to make this work, I'm leaving to pune in 2 weeks for a month, I would be asking the institutes if I can attend and get a student visa through any schemes or even look for any job even with little pay that would provide me with a work visa. Sorry for the long post again, this website has been my home for the past month, love light and many blessings to all of you namaste.

High School, before applying for a place at an educational establishment in India. However, as you'll be in India soon, it is worth at least asking whether you can finish your high school education there. Unlikely as it is, it's worth a try. That begs another question, now that you have left the family business, would your family pay the fees for your Indian education? My advice is to make the very most of the month you have in India, then return home and work hard at your studies. After all, you might not even like India, but education is never wasted. ![]()
