Toronto: self addressed stamped envelope for return passport?

I am in Toronto and Consulate office in Toronto does not allow us to drop and pick up passports. We are thinking of sending by courier but it seems they will send back my mail (the forms requests self addressed stamped envelope.Is it safe? Is there any way we can get it back by courier?

Any help and guidance appreciated.

You can never tell about a place up so far north but with better maple syrup. However, its routine for me in the states. For speed use Fedex or the equivalent..

I believe I used Canada Post's courier option-either Priority Post or express post-put it in the original envelope and they returned it using that.It was quick and traceable.

Thanks. We sent self addressed Canadapost express envelope but it was returned to us using the same envelope but as regular mail. I guess visa office just puts all the mail in the post box. Anyway got the visa.
