Time period for Renewal of Indian Passport

Dear All ,
This is Rocky.I have a quick question. My passport will expire in 20 months,my company will provide a visa for 2 or 3 years from now.In this case to avoid conflict is it possible that i can renew my passport at the earliest, I mean I still have almost 20 months but the Indian embassy site says we can submit for renewal with in 1 yr of expiry date.Could anyone please advice ...

This is the same question you asked yesterday: please don't do that. You can "bump" a thread by posting to it again, if nobody has answered after a day or so, but please don't make duplicate threads.

Your best source of information on this is your Indian embassy, who are going to have the last say, anyway. Suggest you go direct to them!
