Welcome to IM.I apologise if this sounds harsh, but if you are really serious about pursuing your studies in Spain ,why dont you do more research by going to the embassy's website rather than ask offhand ,the kind of docs you require.
Google the spanish embassy's website or check the passport and visa section in this forum and get the Embassy's website.
You would also be better off selecting the college and looking at thier requirements.Do go to the Camp Nou to watch Fc Barcelona in action if you are a soccer fan .

Thumbs up

Hi manifold.06,

I'm one of the few spaniards here in IM, but cannot advice you about student's visa in Spain. As batistuta says go to the web page of the Spanish Embassy and you'll got all the information, and of course "Nou Camp" is a must in Barcelona. By the way I'm a great fan of Barcelona F.C.

You'll enjoy Barcelona is one of the nicest towns in the world.

Maybe you can check with this consulate:

Mrs. Kulsum N.A. Dubash
6, K. Dubash Marg – Bombay 400001
Tel: + 91 22 22 87 47 97 y 22 83 52 32
Fax: + 91 22 22 04 36 25

it's noted as consul honorario in the spanish's foreign affairs webpage.

This summer I've had a group of gujaratis at home and I think they've told me about going to mumbai to solve all the visa issue.

By the time, I'm from barcelona and besides FC Barcelona you may know that Barcelona is the captial of Catalunya and here we do speak to different languages catalan and spanish (very similar but different) so take in mind that although everybody understands and can speak spanish, you will be hearing both of them in the streets so don't get fooled!

If you come here to study you will find that some weeks ago there has been a opening of a new cinema showing bollywood films (the first one in Barcelona). Also you will find that casa Asia (http://www.casaasia.es/) celebrates many cultural events related with india (diwali,...)

good luck,

uribaba

Manifold.... I'm afraid you'll find people here who know more about Indian visas than European!

If you are accepted to study at a foreign institution then they may well have the facilities to help you with your visa: you'll certainly need supporting etc from them.

Rather than looking for a website for any particular embassy or consulate, try looking at Spanish Government Department sites; there is probably one about Immigration. I know that the British Govt has, complete with all the information and forms.
