Single Entry Employment visa is it possible to change to multiply entry visa?
hellooo,
so there I go.... When I applied for my employment visa in my home country, the embassy official declined my 1 year visa application as my current company didnt explicitly mention that my work contract was for a year. So I got just 6 months single entry employment visa . I will extend my current visa but I am not sure if the the entry condition can be changed?? I cannot immagine not leaving India for next 1.5 year !!!
Unfortunately I cannot afford to go all the way to Europe and get new multiply entry visa there
so what are my options?? Negotiate with FRO or visit Home Office during the extention??
Thanks for advice,

Hi Ondulino,
Is it possible to extend your visa? The Indian embassy in Netherlands has this same habit to give only single entry visas for 6 months and on top of that they write "non extendable" in it. In that case you will have to go back to your country, no other way.
The extension will have the same "terms and conditions" as your original visa. It is not possible to make any changes, except for the duration. So it will stil be a single entry visa. Also be advised that it can easily take up to 6 months or longer before you at all get your extension. During that period you cannot leave the country, unless you have a temporary extension.
If I were you, I would go to the FRO and ask them what can be done in your case.
