| Hello, I know it maybe a silly question, but at least I can feels less anxious about it, Im travelling to india from Delhi in september. I'm not quite sure about the itinerary, but at least i'm visisting Delhi, varanasi and Darjeeling (I'm not visiting any region requiring a special permit as far as I know) Today I went to the Indian embassy to get the Visas. The thing is that I forgot to fill in the Visa Form the "destination" field (places I will visisit in India), so the employee in charge rushed me to complete it so I just wrote "Delhi", which is where my flight arrives to. My question is: Is will the fact that I only mentioned "Delhi" in my Visa application form, be a problem while traveling outside Delhi? (Varanasi , uttar pradesh, darjeeling) Thanks everyone, Guillermo |

| Welcome to IndiaMike! ![]() That will be absolutely no problem at all, don't worry about it. It's not a silly question either. Some people, such as those of Pakistani heritage, have to submit separate forms listing the places they are visiting but if that applied to you, they'd have told you at the Embassy. There are a few areas of India, mainly in border areas, that you do need ILPs (Inner Line Permits) to visit, but they're available in India, no problem. ![]()

| I think that applicants of Pakistani origin are sometimes tied to ports of entry, and even itineraries, but otherwise, it doesn't much matter. Last edited by nayan; Sep 5th, 2009 at 14:45.. Reason: edited portions irrelevant to thread |
