Received new visa in Kandy, Sri lanka

I just got back from a trip to Kandy, Srilanka to renew my visa. I am Dutch and had a business visa that expiered 8 September. I aplied for a three month tourist visa with double entry. I received a three month visa, single entry.
I went tuesday 8 September 2009 to the Assistant High commission of India, 31 Rajapihilla Mawatha. At 7:45 I was in front of the office. The guard told the office wont be open before 9:00, but at 8:30 we could enter. I got number 6 after showing that I had a copy off my passport and two photo's.
I received two papers to fill in, one fax and one applicationform. Soon it was my turn to give the papers. I was told I had to wait till they would call me again. It took very long before I finaly got the call. They told my they just give a3 month tourist visa with single entry. I had no possibility to explain why I wanted the double entry, so I just exepted it.
I had to pay 5070Rs cash and had to come back next monday at 15:00. 14th of September 2009 I went at 15:00 and gave my passport. I was told I could wait till 16:00 or come back. I stayed and at 16:00 a lot of people entered to receive their visa. At 16:15 I received my passport with three months tourist visa single entry.
Good luck to everyone who is trying to get a new visa. It was easier than I thought.
