Question about passport

Hello guys,

I have a question about Indian passport.

I have lost the passport and wanting to apply new one or I should say wanting to apply duplicate one, so the question is : If I apply duplicate passport do I have to submit all the documents again or just FIR copy to avail new one and also Will I have same info printed what I had before or will it be the on what I request.

One more imagination question :-

Say if I apply new passport in India I know it will take almost more then a month, so say if I am traveling to nearest country lets say Srilanka or Nepal or Pakistan, and if lodge a compliant to Indian embassy stating that I have lost my passport ---- you think I can get it in one week ?

Are you serious?

Or is it that you just want to renew/reissue your passport and in a hurry/too lazy to jump through all the hoops in India?

I want my passport to be reissued and therefor I want some information about traveling to nearest country and apply new one there at Indian embassy....

As you said that is right Am I hurry.....

Could you please advice me about it, if you have knowledge about this...

I think they will only issue you with a temporary passport and then when you come back to Delhi, you will need to wait for your proper passport.

How did you go with your wife's x visa? Hope she will get it soon!

Well about my wife situation, I am still waiting to get the marriage certificate, hope I will get marriage certificate soon and then I have to start process for converting to X visa.

and about my question: it means they will not give me a proper passport, once I return to India I have to get replacement passport is that what your saying ???

But cant I just live with temp passport ??? thanks

what is it about your present passport that you're so unhappy about ?
why do you want it re-issued ?

Well let me be frank with you guys...

I had a X partner and we had little fight then she left and fled to Canada with no further contact, I also tried approaching but no contact whatsoever waited for almost 8 months, then I fall in love with one girl back in New Zealand we got married with her parent consent and my partner know every thing about my X. sooo know I want to remove her name from my passport....

hope you guys understand my situation....

go to the RPO in your region.
fill in the required form/s.
provide your divorce papers.
the name will be removed.
if you want it in 4 days time - apply for the tatkaal procedure.

another ludicrous suggestion from you of illegal activity, and i aint going to be so polite.

I tried getting divorce but as I said before there is no further contact info to get hold of her. What do you mean by illegal activity, I dint understand what you meant...

A passport should be the least of your worries at this point.

You have "married" a woman without getting a divorce from your wife.

That makes you a bigamist.

Well I am Muslim and I can legally marry upto four but I am not in that intention, all I am trying to do get my life settle...

Moreover I dint intend to leave my 1st partner, she left and fled to Canada with no further contact info. you guys tell me is that my mistake ?
