Please help London Embassy Visa problem

Hi, I picked up my visa this morning for India after waiting from 3 in the morning till 9am

. I wanted a six month tourist visa. There was some error and they handed me back a 3 month visa with no multiple entries. I said to them that I needed the six month version, so they took back my passport/visa and changed it to the proper details in blue pen ink.

I am worried that it looks suspicious and looks like I have tampered with it, even though it has their official signature.

Will this amendment be a problem? Should I go back and ask for another printed version? London is such a long way from where I live, if anyone could please advise me I would be very greatful thank you,

I got a visa for a relative from CGI (Birmingham) several years ago and they spelt his name incorrectly on the printed visa. Their solution was to correct it by hand. He travelled on it to India and had no problems.
