Passport validity

Hi

This is Kumar. I am planning to travel UK on Tier 1 Visa from India.

I have a doubt... My passport is having 5 months of validity. Will it be a problem at airport/immigration check.

Please let me know.

I think one of the conditions for issue of visa is a passport with minimum 6 months validity.

My thought was that he already has the visa, as he is talking about going for a visit, but not talking about having a non-settlement (tourist) visa.

Kumar, were you there before, as a student, or working?

Hi,

I already got the visa. At the time of appying visa I was having 7 months passport validity.

Now I am planning to go there. The passport validity is 5 months only.

So I want to know if there is any condition for the passport validity.

You can travel using your current passport. Its 100% legal. Go ahead
