| Passport Validity Hi Guys, Major Problem. I have just realised that my husbands passport has only 3 months validity. We have been issued a visa a few weeks ago and they passed that fine but i have just realsied his passport expires in Late march. Has anyone had any experience with this? We leave on 1st Jan and don't have time to get a new passport and visa. Look forward to hearing from you |

| Are you planning to be in Delhi beyond 3 months? If not; then I don't think it should be a problem as you already have a visa. IF yes; then perhaps best check with the Australian High Commission.

| Rohan is on the money - unless you intend staying beyond the period of the passport you should be fine. You were given the visa on the basis that the passport is currently valid - so no problems there(countries differ on their rules for passport expiry when issuing visas - some wont issue if its within 3 months of expiry, others are happy to issue up to a month from expiry - but you have the visa so no issues). happy travels |
