passport help
ive recently got British citizenship. now i want to travel to india in dec but dont think will have enough time to get a uk passport made and apply for a visa. also my indian passport will expire in jan. could some one tell me if i will be ok if i extend my indian passport and give it up once ive come back from india since i wont apply for my british passport untill i come back from india . thanks
You are no longer an Indian Citizen, so you are not entitled to an Indian passport, you are supposed to surrender it (and have to do so to get an Indian visa/ PIO/ OCI), there are financial penalties for not doing so.

As above, once you got citizenship of another country, you should give up Indian Passport and citizenship as India does not allow Dual citizenship. So no question of extending Indian passport while you no longer remain its citizen.
