Passport for baby

Hello all,

I went through some threads but none of them matched my case, so am starting this thread.

I want to get a passport for my 3 month old baby with the following details:

I'm an Indian and working in India. My Indian passport contains name of my wife.

My wife is a Chinese, residing in India on extension of entry visa and not working. Her passport (Chinese) does not have my name on it. We both got married here in India and we have the Indian marriage certificate.

Baby is very much born in India and has birth certificate with his name included on it and both parents' names.

I'm not planning any travel immediately, so no need of tatkal.

How can I get the passport? Do I need any special letter from Chinese embassy? Any special document I need?

Assuming you want an Indian Passport, read this:

Birth certificate and parents passport(s) and documents should be enough.
