Pakistan Born Applying for an Indian Visa

My friend is a US citizen who was born in Pakistan and will be applying for an Indian tourist visa. Does anyone know any US (or other) citizens of Pakistani origin who've applied for Indian visa since the whole Headley thing went down? What have their experiences been?

Even before the "Headley thing" even British citizens of Pakistani origins had to wait up to 25 working days for their visa to be processed.

I cannot imagine it having become any easier - this is what the situation was like: Visitor (Tourist) Visa for Pakistani

Pakistani-Born US Citizen

I applied last summer and it took five days to get a three month double entry visa. I applied in September last year and it took me almost three months to get a three month single entry visa.

My wife applied last Dec (2009) and we have got anything yet. We got passport back saying its gone for entry clearance..
