OCI application from the UK - Please help

Dear all,

I sent my OCI application via the Royal Mail special delivery about 10 days ago to the Indian High Commission London office.
The royal mail website states that the package has been delivered and signed however the OCI website does not yetacknowledge the application.

I am looking at the following site to track the status:
https://passport.gov.in/oci/OnlineOCIenquiry.jsp

a)Is the above URl the correct site to track OCI status
b)What is the normal turnaround time for an OCI application to be acknowledged?

It might have changed recently; but I do not recollect it being passport.gov.in - Do search this forum for previous query sites. It does take more than 10 days to acknowledge.

It will take up to 4-5 weeks just to acknowledge your application on line. see previous threads on this subject for a time line. add a week to teh process every 3-4 months since the time line was posted. it is very busy these days.
