obtaining a residence permit on a tourist visa?
i thought i try my luck re-posting my thread here where it seems a good bit busier, as it wasnt receiving any replies in the ex-pats area:
i have a 10 year tourist visa and am wondering how i may go about getting a residence permit. does anybody have any experience or tips in this area? |

Residents Permits
The only thing that I know is that after 10 years of living there you can apply for permanent residency. I would very much like to know myself if there is a quicker way as I am close to shifting over to set up a business with which I can get 5 plus 5 years business visa's etc.
