hey everyone!
can anyone can their experiences (especially European citizens) of crossing into Nepal from India and obtaining a tourist or transit visa at the border checkpoint - rates are still US $30 & US $ 5 respectively? is the border checkpoint common to both Indian and Nepalese immigration? or a no man's land in between? also do the Nepalese usually issue a visa without hassles? or do they ask many questions and go through your entire passport to check for Indian immigration information? i have an airticket to fly out of Katmandu back to Europe - but have a just been freshly issued a passport here and this might be a problem - any advice and experiences extremely welcome.
