Need Help... Re: Business Visa Extensions

I am leaving tomorrow Sunday for India (hopefully). While packing, I just discovered that my business visa which I remembered as a 5 yr visa is in fact a 1 yr visa which expired in April 2007. How do I go about getting an extension? Can this be resolved when I land in Bangalore? Will I be deported if I go tomorrow without this being resolved? Any help is appreciated.

You will not be allowed into the country without a valid visa. You must get it renewed before you go.

You probably wouldn't even be allowed on the flight; the airline would not take the chance.

So, I guess the process is much the same as getting it in the first place was...

Nick's right. You can't even get on the plane as there are no visas-on-arrival in India. You have to go apply for a new business visa; this one is not extendable as it is expired.

Time for frantic phone calls top the airline to see if you can change that flight without loosing all the money....
