Missing Letter

Hi All,

In the Name field of my Passport, one letter is missing from my father’s name.
So instead of AMIT CHANDRAKANT it is AMIT CHANDRKANT.

I am planning to apply for the US Visa (H1B). Please advise me on following-
1) Will it matter and cause to reject the Visa?
2) What are the steps to correct the same?

The site is really more for Indian visas, not US visas, but to avoid any issues you should probably get it corrected. Not sure about the process, but would start here:

HI,
In my passport the last letter of Birth state name "ARUNACHAL PRADESH" is missing and is printed as "ARUNACHAL PRADES". I think the error occured due to insufficient space in the passport booklet. Will it create any problem in future or i have to get it rectified immediately. Except this all other entries like name, DOB, birth place and district are correct. Please advice

Not likely to cause any issues as long as the other details match and are not contradictory.
