Post Minors: Two different passports, both valid ?

Here is something I did not know ( Of benefit to parents of minors of born outside)

Quote:
Minor (upto age of 18 years) possessing Indian passport with passport of another country may travel to either of the countires without visa of respective countries. They may use Indian passport at the time of arrival in India and Foreign passport at the time of departure to the country of which he is possessing the passport.

Wonder what operational sequence goes into getting two passports. Time for a visit to the North Block for lunch

A pretty bizarre rule for a country that doesn't recognise dual nationality!

You can actually have dual nationality before 18 years old :

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/si...xh?view=Binary

section 6.4 :

Quote:
The only exception to this general ban on dual citizenship is
where a child is a dual national by birth. In such cases that
child can remain a dual citizen until either:
a. they obtain a passport in their other citizenship (while
under the age of 18); or
b. they reach the age of majority (18)

EDIT : nevermind, you cannot get two passport , only two citizenship
