Hi there,

It's my first post, and I had to post to this topic as soon as I saw it as I've just spent the last few months working my butt off putting together all the information I could find regarding Indian visa and embassy information from around the world.

I really hope I don't p*** anyone off with this post, after all, it's my first entry, and I'm going to post a link to another site. As it's a totally free, non-commercial resource, I hope you don't mind.

I've also spent a whole load of time converting the most popular application forms into ones you can complete by screen, ie, typed instead of hand-written. Anyway, here's the link: Visas4India

I hope this is useful to you Please let me know if I shouldn't be posting this link.

Thanks,

sanj

Piss anybody off? You've made my day! I've only glanced at it, but what a wonderful site

I'm not going to be online much for a while, but when I get back (to India and IndiaMike and the internet) I'll take a good look, and, if I can offer any comment from my experience I will.

Welcome too IndiaMike! You bring with you one of the greatest contributions I've seen

Thanks Nick, those are some extremely kind comments you have made, and they have brought a huge smile to my face.

Thanks, it's nice to see the effort has been worthwhile.

Missing in both list so far : -- Switzerland:

http://www.indembassybern.ch/

Details attached.

They are one of the very few embassies that issue one-year tourist visas if you ask nicely.

Superb, thanks for that

I've made an update and placed all essential info / standard application form here

Note that if you are making long term or non-standard applications, you should contact embassy staff directly for information.

Finally there are some jurisdictional restrictions to be aware of. They are listed at the link above and on the embassy website.
