In terms of the Foreigners Act, all foreigners including People of Indian Origin (other than Tourist Visa Holders) intending to stay within the limits of Cyberabad police commissionerate have to register themselves with the deputy commissioner of police crimes, who is the designated Foreigners Registration Officer for Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
With the launching of on-line registration facility, foreigners can browse the website and read the instructions and file the application online. On receipt of the online application, it will be duly processed and the residential permit certificate is kept ready for issuance the next day. Foreigners can collect their residential permit between 4 pm and 5 pm on the next working day.
