How long must I leave to "reset the clock" on a visa?
I have to reset my time (180 days) in country for my business visa. I have another 180 days or so on this visa, and I need to know how long must I leave the country before I can come back... Do I have to stay overnight, a few days, a week? can I pass through customs, have some airport snacks and get back on a plane?
Thanks for your help!

If you have a multiple entry Business Visa, and barring an explicit restriction in your visa page, as per this - http://mha.nic.in/pdfs/ForeigD-VisaProvision.pdf
You can extend it in India, as per #6 of http://mha.nic.in/pdfs/ForeigD-PwrdlgtFRROs.pdf

Hi Nycank, Yes, this is all information that I know. I know how to renew it, if I need to, and the registration (tho this form is really quite handy!). What I haven't been able to find yet, was the tourist visa says I must only come back after 2 months or with some exemption application.
Is there a time limit for those of use on business visas to be out of the country before we can return and reset the clock... a day. a week? simply passing through customs and turning around?
Thanks!!!!
